Event Visual Recording
I join your event, online or in person, and draw alongside the conversation as it unfolds. Rather than performing from the sidelines, I become part of the space, listening, noticing connections, and translating what’s happening into a living digital illustration.
You can engage with the process as much or as little as you like. The visual can evolve throughout the event, be shared along the way, or come together as a finished piece at the end. Because it’s digital, we can stay curious and responsive, adjusting the visual as ideas take shape.
Some ideas need a little more time to take shape. I work with you over days or weeks to develop illustrations, diagrams, and visual stories for reports, research, presentations, publications, and other projects.
We can start with a conversation, a rough idea, or a pile of information and work back and forth from there. The visuals can evolve as your thinking does, with space to refine the details, try things out, and make sure the final piece says what you mean.

Cosmic Entanglement: Land as Sacred Witness to Emotional Energy
Cosmic Entanglement was created for a doctoral dissertation exploring Indigenous and contemplative understandings of humans' relationship to the Earth. It draws from stories shared by an Elder and an Indigenous scholar, who describe how every story we tell is witnessed not only by other people but by the Land, the water, and the stars:
"the tree breathes with us and we breathe with them." The three figures, held within the roots and branches of a single tree beneath a star-filled sky, represent the human body as one small, luminous strand woven into a much larger conscious web of earth, water, and cosmos.
